Long Beach City Council Wants to Charge Fee to Each Property Owner

If you are a resident in the city of Long Beach, I suggest that you go to the Long Beach City Hall's meeting on July 22nd, 20008 at 5:00 pm and let your voice be heard about this proposed Parcel Tax for each property and apartment building unit. 

The Long Beach City Council will consider placing a Parcel Tax on the November 2008 ballot this Tuesday, July 22nd at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall.

The proposed Parcel Tax is $120 annually per residential parcel and $120 annually per unit for apartment buildings.

We encourage you to attend tomorrow´s council meeting if possible.
